【日常英会話　天気の話題】使えるフレーズを覚えよう

あいさつ＋天気の話

How are you?　などあいさつの後、
何も思い浮かばない。。。。。(;’∀’)

と、気まずい沈黙にならないために、天気のフレーズを言いなれておくと良いです。

天気の話題は、同僚や友人はもちろん、初対面の人との挨拶や簡単な会話のきっかけとして、色んな国の人たちとも共感できます。

例えば、

「おはよう。今日はどんな天気かな？朝、天気予報見た？
　今日はずっと良い天気のままかな？」

と、言ってみてくだい。

解答例①
Hi. I wonder what the weather’s like today.
Did you check the weather forecast this morning?
I hope it stays nice all day.

解答例②
Good morning. What kind of weather is it today?
Did you see the weather forecast this morning?
Do you think it’s going to stay nice all day?

●体感　「今日は蒸し暑くて、我慢できない。」

• 蒸し暑い（Muggy） 

  今日は蒸し暑くて、我慢できない。
  It’s so muggy today; I can’t stand it.

• 肌寒い（Chilly）

  夕方は少し肌寒かったので、セーターを着ました。
  The evening was a bit chilly, so I wore a sweater.

• 凍えそう（Freezing） 

  外は凍えるように寒いから、しっかり身を包んでね。
  It’s freezing outside; make sure to bundle up.

• ムシムシする（Sticky） 

  今日は天気がムシムシしていて、涼しくなるのが待ち遠しい。
  The weather is so sticky today; I can’t wait for it to cool down.

• 暖かい風（Gentle Breeze） 

  そよ風が吹くポーチで座っているのは本当にリラックスできる。
  Sitting on the porch with a gentle breeze is so relaxing.

• 冷たい風（Cold Wind） – 

  冷たい風が吹いているから、実際よりも寒く感じる。
  The cold wind makes it feel even colder than it is.

• 湿度が低い（Low Humidity）

  湿度が低いから、アウトドア活動には最適の日だ。
  With the low humidity, it’s a perfect day for outdoor activities.

●晴れの日　「良い天気ですね」

• おはようございます！良い天気ですね。
  Good morning! What a beautiful day, isn’t it?
• こんにちは！元気ですか？今日は素晴らしい天気ですね。
  Hey! How are you? Isn’t it a gorgeous day today?
• こんにちは！今日は素敵な天気ですね。

●異常気象の暑い夏　「この暑さ、異常だよね」

• おはよう。この暑さ、ありえん！最近の異常気象には驚かされるよね。
